“I don’t need a man; I need a coffee and a tan.”
The Bare cups generated significant attention when they launched in-store, quickly becoming a standout moment across social and press.
The campaign launched in Bare founder Vogue’s hometown of Howth, alongside café partner PÓG, with additional activity across their locations in Malahide, Clontarf, and two city centre sites.
To amplify the launch, the now-infamous cups were supported by bespoke “selfie mirrors” integrated into sandwich boards and placed outside each store, designed to drive organic content and encourage customer interaction.
As expected, both the cups and mirrors were widely picked up by Irish media, with strong public interest and ongoing conversation around the campaign, including reaction from Vogue’s co-host Joanne McNally.
